TPS Triumphs at the Oldham Business Awards: A Remarkable Debut Victory

The Oldham Business Awards were held recently and not only were TPS finalists; we won one of the categories we were shortlisted in. This is an amazing achievement for TPS especially as its the first time we’ve ever entered any sort of business awards.

TPS were extremely proud, thrilled and excited to be nominated for two award categories, all our team were really looking forward to attending the ceremony held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham. It was an absolute privilege to have even been shortlisted.

Each of the 11 categories were independently judged and the winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 22nd September.

All the TPS team that attended had a fantastic fun-packed evening, with the celebrations going on into the early hours.

“It’s a huge honour for us to win this award. Oldham is where it all started for TPS and we’ve built a team of people over the last few years that have made us proud with their consistent work ethic, dedication, loyalty and character to take on the various challenges that we’ve had to overcome. The recognition makes all the hard work worthwhile.”

Andy Hanlon – Managing Director

“It’s the people that truly make a company, and investing in our team’s future is something that TPS can be proud of, we’re supporting our workforce as they strive to achieve more qualifications, taking on more challenges and we’ve established some great employee benefits to help make their money go further.”

Andy Hanlon – Managing Director

Representing business innovation, people management, inspirational leadership and skills development, the Oldham Business Awards is in its 15th year. With a strong community ethos, the Awards support many local charities including, the Mahdlo Youth Zone and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
