Periodic
Testing

Comprehensive periodic testing services for any existing electrical installation

Being Compliant

Electrical periodic testing and inspection is a vital part of any company’s legal compliance. Whilst there is no specific electrical testing law, the Health and Safety Executive sets out a number of laws governing safety in the workplace to ensure occupants or users of a building remain safe.

Periodic testing services for existing electrical installations are carried out by our team in accordance with IET wiring regulations BS767:2018, the national standard to which all domestic and industrial wiring must conform.

Our dedicated team of engineers are NICEIC accredited and approved. Trained to carry out all aspects of testing and inspection, they will identify and prioritise any areas that fall short of the national safety standard.

Reactive
Maintained
Services

TPS also offer a flexible reactive maintenance service for those companies that do not have a planned maintenance agreement in place. This style of service provision allows companies to simply react and fix issues as and when they arise, removing the need for any regular maintenance schedule. Whilst this type of agreement has no initial outlay, the lack of routine maintenance may result in repairs being larger and therefore more expensive in the long run.

Having a reactive maintenance agreement in place, ensures TPS will still be able to provide emergency assistance in the event of any critical equipment failures and assist with any general repair or breakdown.

What is Included In Periodic Testing

A periodic inspection will test the electrical distribution system in several ways. All results will be recorded along with recommendations of any remedial work that may be required to make the electrical installation safe.

Identify any signs of electrical damage or wear and tear that may affect building or occupant safety; including potential fire hazards and electric shock risks

02

Defects

03

Electrical inspection

Highlight electrical circuits or equipment that may be overloaded

04

Verification
