Scaling New Heights for Mental Health: TPS Team’s Snowdon Climb for Manchester Mind
On Saturday 14th October some of the TPS team climbed Snowdon for charity. Our chosen charity is Manchester Mind (supporting mental health). At TPS we believe physical and mental health is really important, we always encourage all our team to look after themselves.
It stayed dry most of the day, the views on the way to the summit were magnificent; at the top it was low cloud and very cold with a biting icy wind.
The fast walkers amongst us had to wait at the top for the rest of us to catch up, so we could get our group photo.
Our team is of mixed fitness ability however we all motivated and pushed each other along the way. We have people who have completed the 3 peaks and participated in iron man events to people who have never walked up a mountain.
As a team we did it in 4 hrs 50 mins
We all had a brilliant day and we’ve raised £1,280 so far; smashing our target of £1,000
Great day out and really good to see the team pull together to finish.
