TPS Invests in new fleet of vans to enhance service quality

Technology Powered Services (TPS), has announced the purchase of its very own fleet of vans to elevate its service capabilities. After initially relying on vehicle hire services for its van requirements, TPS has taken a strategic decision to invest in its own fleet of brand-new vehicles, aiming to improve efficiency and reliability in its operations.

Having experienced challenges with older vans supplied by its vehicle hire provider, TPS made the proactive decision to purchase seven Peugeot Partners and two Renault Trafics. As a rapidly growing business, with projects all over the country, TPS identified the need for having modern and reliable vehicles to support its operations more effectively.

To cater to the diverse needs of its teams, TPS also added two larger vans for its installation teams. As a people first business, it is not surprising that TPS selected higher specifications for its new fleet, which boast reverse sensors, sat nav, and air conditioning.

We believe that investing in our own fleet of new vans is a crucial step towards ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services. Having ownership of our own vehicles also gives us greater flexibility as a business Our team spends a significant amount of time in their vans, so it was essential for us to provide them with vehicles that not only meet their functional needs but also offer comfort and convenience

Nerys Stead – Director

The decision-making process included input from members of the team who would be using the vans on a daily basis and involved a thorough evaluation of various factors, including price, value for money, and specifications. This collaborative approach ensured that the selected vans not only met the company’s operational requirements but also aligned with the preferences and needs of the team.

In addition to the premium specifications, TPS also invested in customisations such as branding, roof racks, ply lining, trackers, and deadlocks to enhance the functionality and security of the fleet.

We are confident that our new fleet will not only enhance the efficiency of our operations but also contribute to the overall satisfaction of our team members who rely on these vehicles daily, added Nerys.
